Охрана окружающей среды для компании Maersk Line – это вопрос постоянной заботы о том, как используются ресурсы, оптимизируются технологические процессы доставки грузов и утилизируются расходы.
Меры по охране окружающей среды
Компания Maersk Line внедряет свою экологическую политику посредством специальной системы мер по охране окружающей среды. Эта система предполагает единый подход к улучшению окружающей среды, а также соблюдению нормативных требований. Этот подход может быть проиллюстрирован при помощи цикла PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act).
На стадии планирования выявляются основные проблемы, оценивается текущая деятельность, и ставятся цели для совершенствования.
На стадии внедрения осуществляются запланированные действия и предпринимаются усилия для достижения поставленных целей.
На основе оценки ставятся новые цели, улучшаются процедуры и цикл продолжается.
На этой стадии проводится внутренний и внешний аудит, оценка руководством и прочие меры по измерению эффективности предпринятых мер.
Частью системы мер и политики в сфере охраны окружающей среды является обучение сотрудников в тренинговых центрах Maersk в Свенборге, Дании и Ченаи, Индии.
Предотвращение утечки нефти
Безопасная эксплуатация судов – один из приоритетов компании Maersk Line. Случайные утечки нефти в море могут нанести непоправимый ущерб морской фауне, поэтому компания постоянно заботится о том, чтобы такие инциденты не происходили. Судовые команды обучаются безопасной навигации судов, кроме того существует план действий в непредвиденных обстоятельствах.
Чтобы избежать утечки нефти все суда, построенные после 2005 года, оснащены встроенными защитными топливными клапанами.
В случае аварии начинает действовать Аварийный комитет, в который входят ключевые сотрудники из различных операционных и технических сфер A.P. Moller – Maersk Group. Целью комитета является предпринятие мгновенных действий и минимизация последствий аварий.
Обработка отходов
Функционирование судов неизбежно создаёт отходы, в частности нефтесодержащие стоки, мусор и сточные воды. Во всей флотилии компании Maersk Line была внедрена программа по утилизации отходов, целью которой является максимально эффективная обработка всех типов отходов.
Сотрудничество
В целях сохранения окружающей среды Maersk Line сотрудничает с несколькими международными организациями.
Одной из таких организаций является «Бизнес за социальную ответственность» (Business for Social Responcibility, BSR), которая «помогает компаниям достигать коммерческого успеха такими способами, которые сохраняют уважение к этническим ценностям, людям, сообществам и окружающей среде». BSR создала рабочую группу Чистый груз, объединяющую транспортные компании и перевозчиков и занимающуюся проблемами перевозки грузов морем. Компания Maersk Line поддерживаее работу этой группы и разделяет её цель, а именно создание чётких экологических стандартов.
Компания Maersk Line также является корпоративным членом WWF Дании.
