He got in to movies when was a little kid and his mom took him to the cinema. Later on in his life he landed a job in a video store called Video Archives in Los Angeles. Whale working there he met a person named Roger Avary. With him they made their first movie which is called My Best Friend’s Birthday, the only problem was it was in unfinished. Why you ask? I don’t really know, that is a question you would ask the man him self.
After the unfinished movie Quentin Tarantino wrote his first movie script called True Romance. His next movie script was Natural Born Killers. True Romance was his first movie script sold. He sold it for $50,000. When he sold his first movie script he did decided to spend the money on things but he decided to use the money to write his next movie script. I was asked to look up two different site of Quentin Tarantino and to compare them.
The purpose of these sites is to let you know who is Quentin Tarantino, also to let you know he is an actor, writer, producer, and a director, How he got into making movies? Where he is from? What he has done? Who he as worked with?
The audiences of the Quentin Tarantino web site are people who like Quentin as an actor, or as a writer, or as a producer, or as a director, or just because they like his movies.
As for how the sites use animation, sound, movies. The sites that I got do not use animation, but they do have pictures of the man Quentin Tarantino, and they look all right. For sound, the site I choose din not have none, but when I was doing the web site for Multimedia, I found some and they had sound for clips of movie of which Quentin Tarantino was part of. As for movies each site has movie and they usually have a list of the movies. Like the sites I choose which are infinet/~dgeiser/danspace/movies/quentin/althing/greatbig/index.htm
which is my Low Budget site and smartdocs/~migre.v/APXIB/tarantino.html which is my Big Budget site. Which has lists of the movies that Quentin Tarantino as been part of.
How the sites succeed in communicating with their audiences? I think the communication of the sites are very, good. I think this because they give a good disruption and as I said the list of movies and what he does for a living.
How effectively does each site use text, color and graphics? Well the site that I picked are great in text, take infinet/~dgeiser/danspace/movies/quentin/althing/greatbig/index.htm it has 13 pages of text and that is a lot. It has 5 different topics like the Introduction, New Articles, New Links, The Great Big List, and but not leas the Credits. The other on which is smartdocs/~migre.v/APXIB/tarantino.html as less text, but smartdocs/~migre.v/APXIB/tarantino.html has more link to more Quentin Tarantino than
infinet/~dgeiser/danspace/movies/quentin/althing/greatbig/index.htm.
The site smartdocs/~migre.v/APXIB/tarantino.html has about links to some of Quentin Tarantino movies, like: Reservoir Dogs has 5 links, Pulp Fiction has 7 links and site that have too do with the man him self Quentin Tarantino as 7links. As For color none of them had great, or good color on their site. As for the graphics they did not have any.
How navigable is it to get on to smartdocs/~migre.v/APXIB/tarantino.html it is very easy. All you have to do is type in the site address. How navigable is it to get on to
infinet/~dgeiser/danspace/movies/quentin/althing/greatbig/index.htm it is very hard. You have to go to search and type in Quentin Tarantino.
Does the site affect the user in a content appropriate way? No it does not because it is nicely set up.
What design elements and page formatting do these sites utilize? infinet/~dgeiser/danspace/movies/quentin/althing/greatbig/index.htm does not have any elements and for the page formatting it is great because it tell me and who ever reading it who is Quentin Tarantino. For smartdocs/~migre.v/APXIB/tarantino.html does not have any elements and for the page formatting it did have some but not well.
My feeling s about smartdocs/~migre.v/APXIB/tarantino.html and infinet/~dgeiser/danspace/movies/quentin/althing/greatbig/index.htm are that infinet/~dgeiser/danspace/movies/quentin/althing/greatbig/index.htm could have had more picture than text. It was too long to just set and read the entire site.
For smartdocs/~migre.v/APXIB/tarantino.html it was the best one have seen of Quentin Tarantino. It had links, which I need for my web page and it helped me a lot.
