Альбом "If I Could Do It All Over Again, I'd Do It All Over You", выпущенный "Деккой" в 1970 году стал значительным шагом вперед в истории "Caravan".
С выходом следующего альбома "In the Land of Grey and Pink" число фанов "Caravan" значительно выросло и ансамбль стали приглашать на ТВ в программу "Top of the Pops".
Ко времени сессий для "For Girls Who Grow Plump in the Night" в "Caravan" вернулся Дэйв Синклер, а за бас взялся Джон Перри, которого Пай давно уже звал присоединиться к банде.
