Dear Mr. Governor:
The reason I am writing this in relation to our study of Henry David Thoreau. I live in the little town of Carlton just south of Duluth. The real problem I have and never had much of a chance to address is that I am under 18 and have all the restrictions and have to pay the same amount in taxes as older people.
I work at McDonald?s, and I pay as much as adults. I even pay more than other adults without kids. I could gross a $180 dollar check and only get about $130 dollars net. Yet another employee over 18 and single would get $150 dollars net. Then when I got my tax returns, we got about the same. I don?t think this is right. I even make less per hour than him.
I can work at a job and have taxes taken out; I can also drive, yet I can?t vote. That is not right. Part of my money goes to you officials, and I can’t choose who you are when you decide these taxes. Now please tell me what is right.
Sincerely,
Kyle Valcourt

Capital Pun Essay Research Paper These people
Capital Pun Essay, Research Paper These people who are on death row are criminals, there’s no disputing that. They have been tried and convicted. We are talking about how they should be punished. It is a far worse punishment to have no freedom and all the time in the world to think about why you lost it. Are we not murderers ourselves if we condone this? Benjamin Franklin once wisely said, “Doing an injury puts you below your enemy; revenging one makes you but even with him; forgiving one sets you below him.” We are no better than the criminal as a society by putting them to death.
