Hero Essay, Research Paper
Compare/ contrast the love between Claudio and Hero with Beatrice and Bene*censored*. Whose is Stronger?
The lovebetween Bene*censored* and Beatrice was much stronger than the love between Hero and Claudio. One reason Bene*censored* and Beatrice?s love was stronger because the way Hero and Claudio got together was not true love. Another reason is that Bene*censored* and Beatrice?s relationship was by fate as if they were soul mates that didn?t know that they belonged together. Bene*censored* and Beatrice?s love was stronger because their personalities are what brought them together.
The way Hero and Claudio got together was not through true love as Bene*censored* and Beatrice?s love was. In reality, the marriage between Hero and Claudio was fixed. ?I will assume thy part in some disguise, and tell fair Hero I am Claudio; and in her bosom I?ll unclasp my heart, and take her hearing prisoner with the force and strong encounter of my amorous tale.? (Pg. 8 Act I: scene I – Don Pedro) ? In this scene Claudio has told Don Pedro the way he feels for Hero and that he is too scared to confront her. Therefore Don Pedro that he will act as Claudio and confront Hero for him at the masquerade ball. If it wasn?t for Don Pedro, Hero might have never knew how Claudio really felt about her. If their relationship were true love, why would he take or even consider someone else?s word and his true feelings of young Hero, the one he loves? ?If I see anything tonight why I should not marry her, tomorrow in the congregation, where I should wed, there I will shame her.? (pg. 37- Claudio)- In this scene, Don John has told Claudio that he suspects Hero of being disloyal with some else. If Claudio?s love for Hero was true, why would he even question the assumption of Hero having relations with someone else. He would never question Hero?s love for him.
Probably the best reason why Bene*censored* and Beatrice?s love was much stronger is because their personalities are what brought them together. They both had very stronger personalities. Beatrice was one who always expressed her mind. ?I wonder that you will still be talking, Signior Bene*censored*: nobody marks you.?(pg. 3-Beatrice) ?In this scene, these are the first words that Beatrice says to Bene*censored*. Usually you would greet someone with a ?Hello? or ?Welcome?. This shows Beatrice?s witt and how she wants to seem in control. Bene*censored* was a smart, and a funny guy. He was very witty as well, and always had a response to anyone?s comments, especially Beatrice. ?I would my horse had the speed of your tongue, and so good a continuer. But keep your way, I? God?s name: I have done.? (pg. 4-Bene*censored*) ? In this scene, Bene*censored* and Beatrice were exchanging words here and there, and Bene*censored* doesn?t like the feeling of being put down. He always had a comment to finish any conversation, ?the last word?. Bene*censored* and Beatrice both had very strong personalities, and for a while it kept them from coming together. Both of them were independent, and thought that marriage was for the birds. But really both of them were lonely, but hiding it in order to look strong, and eventually with little help, they realized that love and marriage were a great thing. They were a perfect match but didn?t want to admit it. That is what is considered true love.
In conclusion, the love between Bene*censored* and Beatrice was much stronger than the love between Hero and Claudio. The way Hero and Claudio got together was not true love. Bene*censored* and Beatrice?s love was stronger because their personalities are what brought them together. That is true love.

The Title In Much Ado About Nothing
Essay, Research Paper Much Ado About Nothing exemplifies a kind of deliberately puzzling title that seems to have been popular in the late 1590s (compare, “As You Like It‰). Indeed, the play is about nothing; it merely follows the relationships of Claudio and Hero, and in the end, the play culminates in the two other main characters falling in love, which, because it was an event that was quite predictable, proves to be much ado about nothing.
