Sight Of Destiny Essay, Research Paper
A Sight of Destiny
Drops of humidity slowly falls forming an ocean below my off-white, red laced Nike mid-tops. Legs long been possessed by the Drum and Base expelled from surrounding boxes almost as if I was standing in a circle of musicians long inhibited by the Gods of music. Spinning like a merry-go-around on crack, who knew a little white candy, about a third of an Altoid, could supercharge your body, like a Jackson to a Civic.
Then on what felt like my twentieth thousand revolution of the, American High School sized room, a vision of my Goddess struck harder then a Mike Tyson left hook.
Attracted like a magnet s North and South poles, my legs turned to rubber and my mouth dropped like the Wily Coyote at the Looney Tunes store.
Her eyes pulled and enticed like the sight of an ocean view. Her smiles brighten the skies of a million nights. The scent of roses with every step she took, with every word, the more your mind becomes seduced. Shoulder length hair the color of a fall sunset, Mocha colored skin, softer then silk. The moment we connected somebody must have pressed pause, for it lasted on and on like an unforgettable song. Like being a child on Christmas Day, the smile was molded upon my face.
It s now been two months, two weeks, and four days, the relationship blossoms like a rose in spring. When we fight we re like a stubborn old couple, refusing to speak a word, with our backs turned, like punished kids facing the wall. It s sweeter then honey, when smiles are around, but more sour then limes, when tears are in our eyes. Like a California road, we ll have our ups and downs, but no matter what the end was worth the ride.
