"Военные" и "мирные" методы в рекламе и Public Relations

Воевать с публикой или дружить? Влиять на нее или общаться? "Разводить как лохов" или строить долговременные отношения? Любить или жениться? Стоп. Хватит аналогий. Сегодня речь пойдет о военных и мирных методах в PR.
А поговорить тут есть о чем.
Для начала, давайте определимся: что такое военные и мирные методы в рекламе и PR?
Военные методы направлены на достижение кратковременного эффекта. Это довольно сильные методы воздействия, которые не имеют продолжительного эффекта. К таким методам можно отнести рекламу "в лоб", "наезды" на потребителя, обращение с позиции "сверху". Скандалы, провокации, манипуляции, интриги, суггестивные технологии - это все оно. Это война с потребителем за часть его доходов: "А ну-ка поделись!"
Действенность этих методов основана на нашей невнимательности, нерасторопности, жадности, доверчивости, на наших слабостях и пороках. В общем, это использование наших слабых сторон для того, чтобы заставить нас отдать часть денег какому-то продавцу за его товар. Кстати, товар может оказаться весьма неплохим. Главное, сам факт: нас "трясут" на то, чтобы мы его купили.
Для серьезной раскрутки брэнда эти методы не очень хороши. Но кратковременный эффект от них весьма неплохой. Потому наш "диагноз": эти методы хороши лишь изредка. Например, при выходе на рынок (только осторожно). Или при работе с неликвидами.
Для того, чтобы потребитель ответил лояльностью, преданностью, нужны "мирные технологии" PR. Чтобы покупатель не верил в компромат против вас, чтобы он рассказывал про компанию знакомым и рекомендовал друзьям, военных методов не достаточно. "Насильно мил не будешь!" - эта поговорка здесь весьма кстати.
Мирные методы основаны на хорошем знании аудитории, на общении с потребителями "на равных", на обращении не как с "лохами", а как с партнерами по бизнесу. "У вас есть проблема (нужда), а мы умеем ее решать!", - это основной мотив миролюбивой рекламы.
Чтобы общаться с аудиторией на таком уровне, и чтобы она доверяла вашей рекламе или статье, надо знать эту аудиторию. Для этого нужно постоянно поддерживать с ней контакт. Изучать, какой товар интересен аудитории, что можно улучшить в своем товаре. Получать обратную связь о новинках и нововведениях. Проверять рекламные материалы на "нераздражаемость". И так далее.
Если говорить грубо, мирная реклама уважает и ублажает потребителя. Военная - унижает и обижает.
"Военные" и "мирные" методы сами по себе - не панацея от всех бед. Их нужно уметь подбирать под задачу.
Для простоты давайте рассмотрим на примере 2 крайние ситуации. В одной из них лучше подходят "мирные" методы. Во второй - "военные". А в завершении рассмотрим пример совместного использования и тех, и других.
ПРИМЕР 1. Ситуация, когда "мирные" методы работают лучше.
Вы рекламируете магазин бытовой техники, в котором не самые низкие цены. Это магазин, в котором осуществляется хороший сервис, но цены чуть выше, чем в крупных сетях с агрессивной рекламной политикой. Это ситуация, когда "мирные" методы рекламы и PR будут более подходящими. Большинство потребителей уже очень устали от бесконечных скабрезностей, пошлости, которые изливают на них рекламные и PR-публикации. И весьма отзывчиво реагируют на рекламу с "позитивными ценностями". Скажем, если у конкурентов пылесос "сосет пыль за копейки", то реклама вашей сети может быть успешной, если вы будете пропагандировать здоровые семейные ценности. Скажем, родился в семье малыш - это счастье. Но это и прибавление хлопот. Если ваш магазин помогает молодым родителям переложить часть хлопот на "плечи" бытовой техники, это очень сильный призыв. Можно разработать целые системы потребительской лояльности для семейных пар, которые будут привлекать их к вам на разных этапах семейной жизни. Если ваши цены - не самые низкие, и на рынке много конкурентов, то "мирные" методы - самый лучший вариант. Вы можете использовать разные способы донесения информации до своих потребителей: рекламные макеты, ролики на ТВ и радио, презентации и PR-публикации. Главное, по содержанию они должны быть доброжелательными, не давить, не внушать, не ставить потребителя в позицию "лоха", не делать из него "дурачка".
ПРИМЕР 2. Ситуация, когда "военные" методы работают лучше.
Вы рекламируете товар (услугу), который не является лидером рынка и не имеет четко выраженных уникальных товарных характеристик. Товар объективно "середнячок" и не очень высокого качества. Но по каким-то причинам цена на него выше среднего. И нет возможности снижать цену. Товар продается плохо, не смотря ни на какие рекламные усилия. Все стандартные методы рекламы этого товара приводят к плохому результату. Постепенно товар "устаревает" и переходит в разряд неликвидных.
Неликвидность товара - понятие относительное. То, что не нужно вашей основной целевой аудитории, может понадобиться "не основным" аудиториям. Скажем, устаревшее компьютерное оборудование весьма охотно покупают многие бюджетные организации. Плохо продающийся недорогой парфюм готовы купить люди, которые "стесняются признаться", что пользуются не самым дорогим парфюмом.
"Военные методы" позволяют в сравнительно короткие сроки "переиграть" ситуацию с неликвидом. Скандал, слух, легенда, созданные о товаре и вокруг товара, позволяют "экстренно" привлечь к нему внимание и достичь на некоторое время роста спроса на этот товар. К примеру, легенда о том, что именно этот недорогой парфюм можно использовать как элемент стрессотерапии в сложных ситуациях, может сработать гораздо лучше прямой имиджевой рекламы. Но и запускать эту "легенду" в массы надо не через прямую рекламу (это обязательное условие успеха такой акции).
ПРИМЕР 3. Ситуация, в которой приемлема смесь "военных" и "мирных" методов.
Товар или услуга сами по себе очень высокого качества, цены - средние или чуть выше средних. Но вокруг - очень плотная конкурентная среда (есть еще пяток-десяток компаний с таким же предложением на рынке). Тогда надо выстраивать четкую политику "мирной" рекламы. А самые "знаковые" места (выход на рынок или перепозиционирование на другую аудиторию) делать "военными" методами.
Чем четче продумана услуга или товар, чем более учтены пожелания потребителей при его создании, тем меньше надо прибегать к "военным" методам в рекламе.
