(Narva-Jхesuu)
One of my favorite parts in the area around Narva is a small resort town of Narva-Jхesuu, which is located about 12 km. from Narva near the sea. It is also called the pearl of the Finnish Gulf and of the entire Baltic Sea coast. One of the main reasons I like Narva-Jхesuu is that only there I can find tranquility from that busy life running in the center of Narva. Fresh air coming from the nearly pine forest charges you with the energy, beauty of the surrounding nature brings a real relaxation, leading your soul to calmness and taking off all the stresses.
In early times Narva-Jхesuu was a great place for organizing weekends and holidays on the nature among very famous people of the XVIII and XIX centuries. Graceful ladies and elegant men walked in the parks of Narva-Jхesuu having a good time. Well-known local Kursaal was a place, where people met to entertain themselves playing different games inside that marvelous building, arranging banquets in honor of different vip-persons, etc.
It is a great pleasure to go to Narva-Jхesuu sandy beach to swim, to sunbathe, to have enjoyable rest. Breathing the air of Narva-Jхesuu forest is good for health. Many and many people from all over the world come there each summer. In winter there is a great possibility to ski from the hills in the forest, to ride a ski-doo.
In conclusion I would like to say that if you really take care of yourself, go to Narva-Jхesuu. It has so many places to stay in: comfortable motels and hotels, as well as cafes, restaurants to have a meal and chat. You will definitely get a satisfaction from all of this stuff. I’m really impressed of Narva-Jхesuu and recommend you to visit this town.
