Color of My Love
~Thomson Vaidyan
A red, red rose for you, my love
My lone angel, my sweetest sweet
Lil’ pretty princess in that hot red
With those matching sweet, crimson lips
Angelic, rosy cheeks I long to touch
My darkest dream to kiss and savor
This red, red rose for you my love
Woven in God’s own softest velvet
Transcending heaven’s glory n’ marvel
Blossomed in the most beautious hour
Each petal as sweet n’ fragrant as you
Beauty reminding me of only you
This red, red rose for you, my love
Pluck out each petal, one by one
Scatter them across those satin sheets
And dear, dream of me this lovely night
Poet and his red, red lullabye…
Softly whispering, “I Love You.”
