This Eternal Night Nico Marino
So quiet, so dark, so empty all around
This eternal night where you can hear no sound.
An undying sleep to which there is no morning
No longer a need for self-adorning.
You enter a room that you will never leave
As you are left with nothing more to achieve
An existence that only a few will recall
Such a short segment for it to be called a lifetime at all
Trying to escape this final fate
Is as impossible as having love without hate
This definitive destiny is the setting sun,
Ending the day of a job that is done.
This eternal night is an inescapable snare
No use running, it will always be there.
