Communist Manifesto Essay, Research Paper
Karl Marx is living in a world he is not happy with, and seems to think that he has the perfect solution. I am a strong believer in his ideas. We are living in a time period with a huge class struggle. The Bourgroise exploits and the proletariat are being exploited. Marx did not like the way this society was and searched for a solution. Marx looked for ?universal laws of human behavior that would explain and predict the future course of events” (36). He saw an unavoidable growth and change in society, coming not from the difference in opinions, but in the huge difference of opposing classes. He speaks of his ideal society and how he is going to bring about this utopia in his book The Communist Manifesto. I am going to share with you more on his ideas of this ?world-wide revolution? (36) that would put an end to social classes and allow people to live with equal sharing which would result in a harmonious and much peaceful world.
As a member of Marx? ideal society I believe that many things will need to be changed, but it will definitely be for the best. Socially we will be in a classless society. This will be a huge change for all people since we have been associated with a certain class since we were born. The people may now get jobs not because of their family background or history, but for their individual talents and abilities. This will enable us to make better and faster products as well as open up many more opportunities, one would not have had before. As one big group, everyone will be looked on as equal and will be expected to contribute not for their well being, but for the well being of all. Everyone will does their own and equal part. Since we are to come together as one, it will be hard to preserve our individuality. Because it causes hierarchy, there will also be no real family life. When a child is born, he or she is born into the society as a whole.
Another aspect that changed is the political system. The state will have withered away. There will be no government. The rules ad regulations that once existed will no longer be in effect because there will be no body there to enforce them. Someone could commit a crime and not get any penalty since there is not one person that has the authority to convict them. They will be sort of unwritten rules, since they are all expected to share, they would not want to hurt another. There will be no problems since everyone is equal and has equal things. This way we will live in a orderly society. No higher group of people will be needed to keep order since everyone is equal and trusted to work together.
Also, intellectually things will change due to the fact that everyone is working together to create a better society. People will do things for each other not just themselves alone. Everyone will come together and share ideas and contribute their own part in hopes of putting together something better.
Religion will also be abolished in this communist society. In every religion that is considered to be the ?prime being?. In the communist society where everyone is equal, there is no ?prime being? since that would mean that those individuals would be better than everyone else. Still, just because religion is gone, that does not mean that all morality will be gone also. Morality should be within people no matter if they are dedicated or belong to a religion or not.
The last of human activities that will change will be economically. Private property will no longer exist. It as well as all things will be shared jointly between all people.
Marx believed that the class system was the main problem and should be demolished. He believed that everyone should be equal and should work together in order to create. In his thoughts in The Communist Manifesto, he tells of all the benefits due to the many changes that will be made in his classless society. Socially everyone will be looked upon as equal, and everyone will contribute to their society. Intellectually, the people will not be selfish and will all come together to combine their ideas. Politically things will be different since there will be no government. Also, religions will be abolished and there will be no higher beings. Economically, property will not be privately owned and everything will be shared by all. In this society, there are many problems and this seems like a great way to bring about change.
