Emotions have been eliminated in the Brave New World. Soma is taken to limit their emotions. If one is having a bad day, they will go on a “soma holiday.” The feeling of hatred has been eliminated towards each other’s castes. They feel that they are better than others, but they do not hate them. When people play a game, they usually feel terrible. A game of magnetic golf has been invented so that they will always win. It takes away that terrible feeling of loss. Feelings have been suppressed in the Brave New World.
The definite implications of having adults filled suggestions from the State are that the people act in a similar way and feelings have been suppressed in t he Brave New World.
