The essence of slang is that it is of general dispersion, but still stands outside the accepted canon of the language (Mencken H.L.,1995; 702). Фаулер так описывает сленг: playing with words and renaming things and actions; some invent new words, or mutilate or misapply the old, for the pleasure of novelty, and others catch up such words for the pleasure of being in the fashion (Fowler H.W.,1906). В Encyclopaedia Britannica(1996) сленг определяется следующим образом: nonstandard vocabulary composed of words or senses characterized primarily by connotations of extreme informality and usually by a currency not limited to a particular region. It is composed typically of coinages or arbitrary changed words, clipped or shortened forms, extravagant, forced, or facetious figures of speech, or verbal novelties.

2. Рассмотреть фоносемантику в языке;
