Saxophone Essay, Research Paper
The Saxophone is probably one of the most popular instruments to date. there are 13
different types of saxophones, but only four are regularly used. This instrument has a sound all of
its own, and today is manufactured by many different companies. The Saxophone continues to
develop since its creation in 1836.
Between the years of 1836- 1842, Adolphe Sax developed his saxophone.
It took him until June 28, of 1846 to get a patent on his Saxophone. This was
because of the Saxophone’s original resmblace to the ophicleide and bassoon.
Some people think that the Saxophone was originally created when Adolphe Sax
put a clarinet mouthpiece on a brass instrument.
